Zorro the Asian Brown Wood Owl
(Strix leptogrammica)
About Zorro
Zorro was given to us because of the high vets bills in relation to his left eye which was larger than his right eye. The eye has had to have some treatment and we are pleased to say that this little fellow has made a fantastic recovery and can see very well, however, he does favor keeping that eye shut a lot. A very comical and secretive owl who likes to torment Basil. When he gets his food, he hides it in the corner and covers it up until you leave. Definitely one of our most impressive birds.
